For better or worse
The BETTER:
A very good day for Susan. She is feeling better, and is exercising her arms. That is just about the only part of her she can move right now. She is not feeling sorry for herself, but rather is trying to move anything she can to get better faster. She is a trooper.

Tomorrow they will do more surgery and try to repair one foot. We don't know yet when they will be doing more surgery on her leg. One thing at a time. The doctors say she will be in the hospital for a while. I don't know how long a while is, but I expect 2 to 4 weeks. Maybe longer. I would think they will send her to rehab once they get everything fixed and healing.

The WORSE:
I was piddling around a window in one of the bedrooms of our house this afternoong and found TERMITES! Where in the hell did they come from? How much damage have THEY caused? There is major damage right there at the window sill. That has to be replaced too now. You know it is just ONE MORE THING to have to deal with. I don't know why God is giving us all this stuff to deal with, but I wish he wouldn't trust us so much.
Everytime we turn around, it seems something else is happening, someone else is dying or getting hurt really badly, the house is falling down around us, etc.

ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE NO MORE PROBLEMS. I NEED A BREAK! TOM NEEDS A BREAK. Let us just get ONE thing fixed before anything else! PLEASE!

I'll put in a request for that one too. I'm glad to hear Susan is such a trooper through all of this. Only the people with the strong will can overcome these types of situations.

He never gives us more than we can handle...just please try to find what it is He wants you to learn through all of this. That way you can get through it with more temprance and patience.

Oh Cindy, I am so sorry to hear about your sister! She is definately in my prayers!

You tell her though that she will be busy with her new career of weather forecasting sonce she has had the broken ankles and back fusion (Been there you know). So she might want to start contacting the news stations right now to see if they will be needing her as weather girl once she gets out of the hospital. I'll put in a good word for her! ;-)
